My first attempt at a hand rubbed Cremona burst the way Gibson did it in the 1930's

My second attempt, this time trying to duplicate a 59 lester



I was originally planning on a dark tobacco burst but it just wasn't working so its more of an iced tea


The closest I've come to a tele is just a subtle edge burst on this one



All of them were done with Colortone transtint stains and nitrocellulose lacquer

I sold this Gibson LP Std to get this Collings CL. Keeping the Collings...
