02.JPG Pretty much the same NIJ Custom as above but with different (original?) pick guard.

Here's mine: a 62 model with a wobbler and a frivolous control plate. Seymour Duncans inside. Kind regards from Alleycat Relics! www.facebook.com/AlleycatRelics

This is my AVRI '62 Custom. It has Alan Hamel pickups in it. Tastes great!

    Loving those black 62 customs.
I've already got one but I'd take another!

That looks like the black version of my 90’s Custom Tele I bought back in ‘96. Both are beautiful guitars. It may be my best sounding Tele (I put Texas Specials in it) and best playing Tele.

In don't own this one; but it's my favorite black Tele. I will build one like it some day. It's a 1997 California Series Tele. Tex Mex bridge pickup and Tex Mex Strat pickup in the neck position.

Here's one that I had last year... It's a cheap kit from china. Spray paint black with white guard turned into a relic. Kinda wish I kept it, but I'm going to build a new one... probably not black though. 20180301_194904.jpg 20180301_195111.jpg 20180301_195128.jpg

    OK, I'll play.

Danny Hines sugar pine Esquire body with Squier standard neck, 5 screw Bakelite pick guard.

Mystery junk box pickup with no switch electronics.

This is the one that I put together out of stuff that I had laying around just to see if I could do it.

That thing looks like it could launch you into space or something. I want to know what all the switches do!

Anybody have a black tele with a lighter/streaky rosewood board? I love all the color and figure that lighter Indian rosewood gets and don't want to darken the one I have sitting around for a build, but feel like it may look funny if I go black.

They give you any combination of on/off, series/parallel, and in/out of phase.
