Yeah, our cacti’s mean business round here! :D

Thanks! That is my favorite neck, it blows my mind still. It was a one-off from the Warmoth Showcase, Birds Eye on Flamed Mahogany.

Anyone remember @csapo? He's not been around lately, but he had the best pics of the best collection... I saved some of them to my local 'drool' folder. Here's one. Gold hardware, matching head... jeez.

Must be the same owner for both. Same carpet and style.

    Oh, yeah, same carpet.

So, just to be perfectly clear, none of those are mine. I wish. But it shows where my head's at, I guess. However, I just know they all have these skinny little necks. Gives me nightmares... :)

I now have a worse case of gas than I already did. Could blame it on the Mongolian chicken at lunch.... but I think it's these photos.

The doublebounds are amongst my favourite guitar looks. Ever.

As you can see I have 5. It’s all I can do to keep it in check...

I've only got one and I think it's my most average sounding and playing Tele out of my small herd. Ironic that my pics of it here have had more likes than anything I've ever posted!

Let's see if I can pick up another like or two!

the least I can do, sir.

Why not sell your “average” doublebound to help finance a 70th Broadcaster....?

Man, im so happy I’m not the only one addicted to 60’s double bound teles.

i hear my friends complaining that I have 2 of the same guitar (two 62ri), only a different color, and they just dont get it.

I really want another one in black or gold (like the John5 tele). I know I need a Hollowbody/semi/thinline more than another solid body tele but I just really cannot help myself. When I see a double bound tele, it makes me weak on the knees!

Yes it crossed my mind, but:
    - it was the first Tele I got after too many years trying to love Strats
    - it's only a p/u swap away from being really good. I'm a huge McNelly fan. It's on the to do list.
    - I love the look of it!
    - an average Tele is still pretty damn ģood.
    - I'm saving up for the centenary reissue.

Oh and both Teles I've ever sold I've bitterly regretted. I wake in the night kicking myself for p/exing my 1980ish 1st Tele for a Trace Elliott BLX. A BLX of all things!!!

Thank you moose! I'm still around but more of an occasional lurker and I remain a fellow drooler. I have a few left in my tele gang and pics of my current and former teles/gear can be found here...

I just started up with a new band and these two are currently getting a lot of playing time...
