I've been playing a doublebound Tele since the early nineties and haven't stopped since.

I took a couple of pics of them altogether, left to right:

Fender Japan Custom Telecaster '62 Reissue Sunburst (1984/85)
Fender American Vintage'62 Reissue Custom Telecaster, Surf Green (2007)
Custom Build Custom Telecaster Black doublebound (2018)
    Custom Build '62 Custom Telecaster Gold-Bronze (2018)
Custom Build Custom Telecaster'62 Old Lake Placid Blue build (2019)

Here's a double bound I put together for my father-in-law a few years ago.

Alder, Lollars, 4-way..all the good stuff.

One of the many iterations my CVC has had.

    DSCF0592.JPG

Aftermarket scratch plate, control plate and knobs ( original pots and switch, the ones with the plate were fit for the bin only ) Wilkinson compensated saddles, straplocks and an Electrosocket.

    DSCF0608.JPG

Later on, the scratch plate, control plate and neck pickup were changed.

I'm a sucker for a doublebound sunburst, and it's just so easy to alter to suit a mood or idea. It now sports original knobs, saddles and a blade humbucker in the bridge. Hmmm. I need to take pictures tomorrow.

Fender Japan Custom 62 reissue, about 4 years old. Transparent crimson. Very nicely put together but just a little bland.

OH yes! we're doing this!!!! I'm gonna bombard y'all with photos!! Im not even sorry!

My current Number 1, 2004 AVRI 62 Telecaster Custom, tri-sunburst.

and my Number 2, 2017 Fender Japan Traditional 60's in FSR Daphne Blue.. quite a hard color to photograph right! laoded with AV64 pickups, and changed the steel saddles to brass which made it absolute killer in combination with the hotter 64 pickups!

Two of them together makes a really killer rig and still look good in both!
