    Once again.... here's my favorite........

it's my '83 Tele top loader that I picked up at the factory in SoCal when I lived out there. It's been heavily modified with the following.....

    reversed control plate
GFS humbucker at neck slot, tapped with mini toggle between controls
3 mini toggles for on/off of the pickups
Tele neck pickup in the middle slot
Seymore Duncan vintageTele pup at the bridge.
Pull pot for volume control activating a phase switch
P/W B-bender installed in '05 by "Stringpull" in Fairfax, Va.
HipShot D-tuner on low E string
    Keith/Scruggs tunable banjo pegs on strings 1 & 5
pickguard(s) I made with my scroll saw
graphite string trees installed side by side for behind the nut bends.

All in all, it's the only guitar in my collection which isn't and never will be for sale. I've told my wife that when I go, the guitar goes in the box with me....JH in Va.

I've got a thing for this one right now. I usually I do my own set ups. But, since I just put a new Warmoth neck on this one she's with my tech getting a fret level done by a pro. Can't wait to get her back.
