    The ones with the binding are called Custom Telecasters:

    whereas a Telecaster Custom is the 1972 model with the neck humbucker:

    Lovely guitars here.. An all time classic look. Hard to beat.

    Here's my '85 which I've had since the mid '90s. Mine has Seyour Duncan Jerry Donahue pickups. I removed the SD logo to make it look vintage. This thing has been so bashed about over the years... the MIJ poly finishes last for ever (and don't come off in giant chunks like MIM).
