I have Bigsbys on my Thinlines

The sunburst has Bardens and a customized standard bridge to accommodate the bigsby

The natural 72ri has a Callaham bridge
Any issues with getting the right break angle with the Callaham? Planning out a Bigsby on my Thinline in the next few months and trying to decide Callaham versus a Mustang style. I'm drilling either way.

None whatsoever ever. The Thinline on the left with the Barden pickups has a modified bridge and Bigsby since the mid-90’s, and the Callaham bridge feels exactly the same. Works great, and has way more sustain than a two point Mustang bridge

Great! I ordered a Callaham a couple days ago. Thanks for the reply.

Good thread guys - much more of a reader these days but this thread is dragging me out of my hole. This is something I've been banging around doing for a few years now and you are pushing me over the edge as I love my Gretsch's Bigsby. I have a Callaham Vintage T Bridge which I love but see would need to replace with one of the versions without the high rear plate in order for the strings to clear from the b-5.
For those with the time; thanks in advance. What, if any, difference is there between the b-5 and b-16 other than looks and price? They look to be drop in/bolt on replacements - no need to mess with the neck angle, shims etc, no? Cheers
