i prefer rosewood and i like the lagit looking headstock shape, the maple board neck i have is lovely also and does look quite nice but is prone to movement as it's a one piece. what do you think? cheers SAM_0758.JPG SAM_0760.JPG

I don't think you could go wrong either way. Both look great to me.

What do you mean the rosewood is "prone to movement as it is one piece"? I have 3 teles with rosewood boards, and I have had zero "movement".

I personally think you should buy another body and have a rosewood board guitar and a maple board guitar.

I like watching his videos. Some of his acoustic repairs are invisible.

He's a big fan of aqua coat products.

I usually prefer maple, but in this case it looks too orange for the body. Go for the rosewood.

no the maple neck is a one piece no fretboard glued on, it always moves with temperature change quite drastically, sometimes it feels as if it moved a full inch higher but i do live in sweden where the weather changes a lot. the rosewood never moves

i really appreciate the opinion from you guys, i was convinced the maple would get the majority vote though as it's more the classic look but rosewood it is! i do want to refinish the rosewood it's pretty rough that's why was thinking of the swap. cheers

    Leave it as is ...

Go have another beer and watch TV ...

Life is too short to think about lofty subjects like maple or rosewood...
