Delete it. If you have to ask, you'll never understand.
I say you open it - but make sure it's on your work computer.
I opened it and there was a message for me that said: "Stop trying to be sarcastic on the internet. It is not funny when you do it."
keep them on file and forward them to trolls
It's like Frank Drebin used to say:
It will only cost you $300 for the solution to fix it...lol
I often read these "should I or shouldn't I?" questions on this forum.
Has everyone on the planet forgotten how to flip a coin?
Should I flip this coin? Yes or No? How can I decide?
Yes, and don't forget to click on the link.
But seriously, NO.
Back in about 2003 or 2004 there was a white paper that exposed a DLL command in Excel that gave someone the ability to run any other program by calling the command and the application you wanted to run. Excel did not even have to be opened, just resident on the computer for the command to be accessed. Less than a week after the white paper was published Microsoft sent a patch out to disable the command. Excel is a very powerful tool in the hands of someone who knows how to work with it.
Inquiring minds want to know.
