Only if you love to waste time and money...
If it was Raquel Welch's body.
Ummm....well. I mean everyone's gots to have a hobby.
BTW that duo sonic might actually be a vintage one. A pic from reverb to compare
You mean 40 years ago. You’re showing your age. Half the people on this forum probably don’t even know who that is.
Yep, now shhhhh or you’re going to blow my sniping plan! Sheesh...
Reviewing the... um... offerings... in this Craigslist ad has made me sad and a little dyspeptic.
You made me turn to the internet dictionary to understand what you wrote!

IF it was local (under 30 minutes) I'd go look at it-if it's original it does kinda look altered, and the pickup routes look crude-on the plus side it kinda looks like a 1 piece body, so you never know... but 4 hrs on California freeways? I'd pass too...
I think you are grossly underestimating the average age on this forum...
Not unless it's free.
Geez. I wouldn't drive 2 hours for a whole guitar; but that's just me.
That cutaway looks weird, it might not even fit a regular pickguard. If you have a pickguard, you should bring it.
Not worth it unless it's very cheap and you can pick up several. That dual humbucker Duo-Sonic II or whatever it is looks interesting, so does that Duo-Sonic.
When I read your title I thought you were talking about a girl. So I clicked on your link and then I found out (to my disappointment) that it was a guitar body.
I would not drive 2 hours each way to look at any guitar body (but I might for the other type). Have it delivered and if you don't like it sell it or return it.
Probably. Then again I am 51, know who she is, shrug and wonder what's the deal. She must be from even before my time.
Best damn movie EVER made. Every scene a classic, more one liners then an Arnold Schwartzenegger movie at his prime and a soundtrack that is heaven on Earth. Plus Clint Eastwood, Eli Walach and Lee van Kleef at their finest.
If you are that curious, ask them to meet you 1/2 way. I agree with the Raquel Welch idea, but this looks like Phyllis Dillers.
Control panel looks too long from here and also seems to be at an angle - is not straight. Possibly the camera angle or possibly a cheap copy.
Common with Asian copies. Better off buying an American or whatever body from a reputable vendor IMO.
I would put the $$$ from time on the road and gas into something else.
GREAT!!!.....now we have to explain to younger members who Raquel Welch AND Phyllis Diller are.....
Maybe they will just use ALEXA......
I wouldn’t drive 2 miles to see it.
