I wouldn't, it looks unremarkable to me.

    Am I missing something?

I must be missing something too? Four hours of time plus the cost of fuel are worth more than I would be willing to pay for a body - I'm assuming it isn't free?

Looks like any bare body you buy online with a hastily applied stain.

If it is an actual fender body, it's been altered beyond the finish.

It's actually from a craigslist ad. I don't think I'm gonna go so have at it if you want. There's multiple bodies that look like they might be fender. The yellow strat body looks like an American Standard with swimming pool route and micro tilt adjustment. I'm not interested in that. There are two bodies that appear to be fender duo-sonic. One has humbucker routing, which I don't think is fender. The white one might be fender, but it has what looks like Bondo on the bridge area. The only one I'd potentially interested is the Tele body, but yeah don't think I'll drive for that.

That Strat body is an American Standard. Bridge post holes are totally hosed. But it’s fixable if you really want one of the rarest American standard colors ever produced. That bad boy is Graffiti Yellow. I’d take that for sure if the price was right.

Absolutely not worth the 4 hour drive. Instead, stay home and watch “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly”. That’s almost 4 hours long. While you’re at it, play along to the twangy guitar parts on the soundtrack.
