It looks like a beautiful guitar. If you've played it, and like it, treat yourself, life's too short. I reckon you could sell it on again if you ever need to. Also - see Biblebound's brilliant flowchart above .

Hello and welcome to TDPRI, glad to have you join us.

If it fit's and speaks to you then buy it. Lovely guitar and I bet it sounds great.

Rosewood fretboard and Mr. Morganfield’s signature on the neck plate?

    What are you waiting for?

    Should you buy it?

Yes, especially if you can play in microtones :)

I think instead of saying the price of everything is going up, I think the value of money has gone down, so much of it has been printed

I don't expect deflation: get used to new higher prices. Bad news for retired fixed income people

I had one 15 years ago and it had great tone! Warmer / fatter.
They also had a good feel and look when looking down at the rosewood slab board. (back in the oily IR fretboard days).

    Go for it.
I prefer wider necks (nut width), or i would of kept it.

For resale down the line check :

    string alignment.
neck body joint crack, and or gaps.
    fret wear.
    weight.
    smells (case too).

The price is a bit ahead of the curve. So what? If you buy that lovely guitar, everything— everything— everything’s gonna be alright this mornin’. Oh, yeah!

I always get a good chuckle out of someone posting on a Telecaster forum about whether they should buy a telecaster. Well duh! Of course you should buy it.
