I've seen this on a few Shop Floor Travelers in the Body and Neck Notes. Other than misspelling "perimeter" (unless that's a luthier term I'm unfamiliar with), can anyone explain what a vintage perimeter and center line is on a body (and tuner hole placement on the neck) -- and who is George Blanda?

    Thanks!

Only insight I can give is that George Blanda was one of original CS builders. Of course, another George Blanda was a kicker/QB in the NFL, but I know that's not the guy.....

spelling is probably related to a character limit. The rest means that they followed the american vintage body and headstock shape for the guitar.
    This is George:

Ha ha - I know about the football player, that's all I could find when I searched. I'm wondering if the notes indicate the work was actually done by George Blanda, or in the style of George Blanda or if he was just the shop supervisor or person who wrote up the order. And what would be the perimeter difference? Different dimensions?

Actually, George is George Blanda Jr. His Dad was the NFL George Blanda. George is/was in Management in R&D when I worked at Fender. I've been gone for quite a while now, so I'm not sure where he is now. I suspect he might be retired...

George Blanda was still playing pro football at 48 years old :).

    Ya gotta be tough!
