OK, a bit of an exaggeration. But the little girl from this pic (not quite as little):

Decided that the little pink amp isn't cutting it. So she asked how to operate mine. Looks like I'm in the acoustic doghouse for a while.

That's the happiest photo that I've seen all week.
You get the cool dad award too.
    That's cool.

Sounds to me like you get some new gear yourself. After you give her yours. What's the issue with that?

^ I agree - it's time for you to amp shopping for yourself.

Do they make a Hello Kitty AMPLIFIER to go with the guitars?

My kid got used to playing my BC Rich Eagle. Spoiled.
It was a downgrade when I made her play the Les Paul.

A pretty daughter like that . . . your problems are just beginning. You are going to be chasing the boys off with a stick in the not too distant future.

My step daughter went from acoustic to a Thinline into a Vox amp. Now her 6 year old son wants an "axe" of his own and knows how to turn on his favorite song on the TV. Wait for it ... yup, AC/DC's "TNT".

So, now you know what you are in for, but nevertheless, "Dad of the week" seems very appropriate. Congrats.

No, but I'm contemplating a Surfy Bear in pink to go with what she has to keep my surf friends quiet.

She already fights with sticks. And has won her age division twice so far.

Aw man, then she'll take the Les Paul, too.:lol:

You would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for that pesky kid

You MUST bring that little angel along w/ you when shopping for the gear!
Please post a follow up w/ your outsized bargain, earned by the cute shopper.

Not quite, though I did a bit in college.

The last couple times I took her with, she was charming the drum guys. Better sense than drummers usually show, right? One time at GC, she was using her hands, and the sales guy brought her a pair of sticks to use.
