That's my Ginger Sue. She's my dog.
Let's see yours!
Funny you should mention the bottlerockets, they just called it a quit apparently.
The pup, shortly after we got her.
The queen, now almost six years old, I'd be lost without her.
This is Max 3 years old. He is a big baby....
Sad, but after reading the post, can't blame him.
Sorry, responded to wrong post.
Got a big kick out of the Bottlerockets. Plus, it's one of my favorite band names, ever.
Lilou, the cattle dog; the current project dog. Had a pretty rough start. Abandoned in a back yard out in BFE, west of Waco. Neighbors were throwing food over the fence.
Doesn't trust too many humans. Bonded with my wife - who loves cattle dogs and found her on one of those rescue websites; took about a month for Lilou to adopt me. Took over 2 months to get her to accept a leash. She's still learning how to play. Very sweet and trusting with just a handful of humans; doesn't mind having two cats in the house. Her happiest moments are right before getting fed.
Hachi the wonder dog
I see mischief in those eye! ;-) Beautiful pup!
I can’t blame him either. A year off can give a dude plenty to think about. Priorities become clearer, especially as he noted how decades are becoming fewer.
Finding a country covers band sounds like a great change of scenery to me and a lot of fun.
Hence the tribute.
Oh you know it! Thanks yeah he's a looker, he has had plenty of exercise since cloud has moved over us the past year
Tiberias is a 10 month old Weaten Terrier. She moved right in when we brought her home and took over the house. We’ve had to redecorate, removing house plants and anything else within her reach. Tiberias is a watch dog, not a guard dog. She’s always on the lookout for someone to play with. She’s befriended the letter carrier and tries to intercept meal deliveries before they get to the door. She’s still a puppy with an appetite for shoes, pillows, blankets, and anything else on the floor or furniture. Here she is on the lookout.
My new buddy Cooper:
Jackie Chan. Best dog ever.
Thanks to you and your wife for having patience with a neglected dog. We found a stray pit mix who had apparently been mistreated by someone; she was very shy at first and after almost two years, if you raise your hand for any reason she is liable to flinch. Sometimes I hate people.
I won't post pictures of our five; they're all over the BD already (Flash, Otto, Ava, Bear, and Charli). All but one are strays we picked up, attempted to foster, and ended up adopting.
I will say this post hits close to home today. A mutual friend of my estranged girlfriend's and mine, from when we all worked at the same hospital pharmacy, lost her husband suddenly three days ago. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations in the deceased's name to local dog rescue organizations. I just returned to work from doing just that on my lunch break.
