I repurposed a couple of builds and ended up with this I am super happy. Nommolasrer reclaimed deck body with expresso stain nitro finish. Aluminum anodized diamond plate pickguard and aluminum knobs plus Wilkinson bridge with compensated saddles. Bootstrap custom wound hot pickups into a 4 way Obsidian solder less harness, oh these pups are great by the way! Tip of the cap to Bootstrap! The neck is off a John 5 Telecaster Deluxe, really nice neck straight 9.5 with locking staggered tuners. intonation is tight action is low and the pickups are loud and clear!

Really cool guitar. Question: what is a "4 way Obsidian wireless harness"?

Never mind, I googled it. It's basically "solderless". Not sure why they would call it "wireless".

Did you make the PG and control plate? If not, where did you buy it?

On Reverb from Perle Guitars it comes as a set with the control plate. It's decent quality the ones that are really fat and heavily andodized are hard to work with and expensive. These are spot on though a little thinner and the anodizing is not as hard. All aluminum is not equal, that said I use their guards quite a bit its a natural shield too.

Diamond plate is a nice touch.

Thanks! Feels almost real... the anodizing is thin so this will patina really fast... so will the body the nitro is thin!
