I don't understand how these can work. There is a strip above and below the blades - how do you cut those lip hairs that grow right under your nose? You cannot get close enough because of the "buffer space" from those comfort strips.

On the reverse edge of the shaver, there is a single blade practically on the corner of the edge. Just hold the shaver upside down to deploy. Works like surgery on the hairs you're referring to.
