I belong to the dollar shave club. I enjoy their normal twin razor blades.

I broke my dollar shave club twin blade handle and couldn’t find my spare.

I went to Walmart to buy razors (first mistake?) and found some really cheap razors that have 4 blades!

It didn’t occur to me that with 4 blades you have about a flat centimeter of little knives on your face. The knives are a flat area and my chin is rounded.

I have successfully removed a large part of the front of my chin on Easter while everyone is home.

An hour of applying pressure did nothing. I think I’ve lost a quart of chin blood.

    I consulted the Internet.

    1. Push an ice cube on your face. It will slow bleeding and enhance clotting. It did nothing.

    2. Apply your deodorant to the cut because it contains aluminum chloride which will shrink blood vessels and cause clotting. I have applied RightGuard Sport Sent gel deodorant to my face (and my face smells sporty now). It did nothing.

My wife found 1 bandaid which looks really sexy on my face but I’m still bleeding. After 2 hours I’m feeling like more and more of a jack*ss by the moment.

    Happy Easter!

If you don’t celebrate Easter then just have a great Sunday.

Stay safe. Be well. Laugh. Be careful with sharp objects.

(Hiding in the bathroom with my iPad applying pressure).

    Yours Truly,

    John

The most dangerous tools in my tool box are my gigantic fixed blade utility knives .

I cut myself with one while demonstrating something to a customer while constructing a shower enclosure.

She said “Be right back” and when she came back said “This will sting” and just slapped it on my finger.

She put more on when it didn’t stop completely and then - it did . Completely.

One of my best customers . She and her husband were kinda hippies but super cool folks.

Get some clotter everybody - stat !

That’s why I’m back to cheap Bic Twin Selects.

No longer trying to lay an acre of blade across my face. Far fewer nicks/cuts.

Shave is closer too. Go figure.

Afrin nose spray can help stop bleeding. I was getting wicked nose bleeds a year ago. My ENT suggested it. Although a cut that large not sure how much it would help. Happy Easter to everyone!

Damn that's funny. That's why I use an old timey safety razor. Just don't go sideways.

More than 2 blades never made any sense to me. I still use a Gillette safety razor (fatboy) from the '50's as it does give a better shave at far less money. Stypic penicls are a must to have around.

Just make up a good story and sell it.

Put some alcohol on it. It won't stop the bleeding but we can laugh even harder. :p I take blood thinners and 2 baby aspirin every day so I get the "don't stop bleeding" thing.

Hey! If he already lived through putting deodorant on it, styptic will be nothing.

A shaving secret from a guy who spent way too much time away from home. Shave in the shower. Shampoo your hair. Use conditioner. The kind you get in the room at Courtyard works fine. Rub it over your face. No more trying to sneak shaving cream thru TSA. The conditioner works better anyway. Use a quality razor. Gillette or Schlick. Even with 4 or 5 blades. Buy them at Walmart but don’t use anyone’s house brand. Shave down, not up, without using too much pressure. I’ve had maybe one or two minor cuts in the past year. Quality blades last longer too.

    Yikes!
I’ve carved myself up a number of times, too.
I used to use stypic pencil.
I still use cheap disposable twin blades.
I get a week or two out of em’.
Anyways, bandage up, and heal up!
