A while back I posted about wanting to share the WiFi signal from my shop with my Mom's house which is around 200 to 250 feet away from here. I ended up buying a TP-Link CPE 210 outdoor unit. I mounted it high on the back of my shop, hooked it up with a 25' grounded cat6 Ethernet cable and aimed it at Mom's place. I had our local computer repair guy to stop by and configure it on Saturday afternoon. Bottom line...it works great! Even after fighting its way past the brush and going through the wall of Mom's house there is still enough signal available for her to watch YouTube videos and surf the internet. I'm very happy, especially considering that the unit was only 40 bucks! I'm even getting a good signal over by my old tractor shed which is over 100 feet off to one side. Highly recommended! Cool. Glad to hear it works well for you. I piggyback off my neighbors (great guy) Wi-Fi. My condo is a bit lower with trees around and in the direct flight path of Sea-Tac airport. When the flight paths change, the wi-fi goes wacky.

Neighbor brought me down a little, cheap extender that sits in the window. It does an adequate job. I can't complain as neighbor is not only letting me use his wi-fi and provided the extender, he also lets me use his netflix, amazon, HBO, Starz, Britbox, et al.

IF he ever moves, I'm screwed!
