You know I live right down the road
That looks AMAZING!
When I was a Sophomore in College in PA, 1977/8, not sure why I did not come back home ( DC-area/VA).for Thanksgiving
BUT, my roommate and I were invited to 3 different Thanksgiving Dinners that afternoon and evening in Erie, PA to various girlfriends ( here I mean friends who were girls with families or roommates)
One dinner had Lasagna & Turkey!
We were dining from 2PM -10PM from what I remember, and well beyond full!
But I don't know how we got around, no car! I guess we got rides and walked?
Don’t forget the mashed ‘taters and gravy!
Damn... now I'm hungry!
We don't celebrate thanksgiving here in Old Mex, I'm gonna have a hotdog for dinner tonight
Cheers to you all!
Roast pork shoulder
And the rest of the meal: mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, and Sałatka Jarzynowa. Made a pumpkin pie for later. Happy Thanksgiving all!
We only had five people for our meal today; Professor Dr. SWMBO, our two daughters, our younger daughter's serious boyfriend and myself. So I opted for a turkey breast which was more than enough for the meal plus a couple of sandwiches tomorrow. So the meal consisted of roasted Turkey breast with dressing/stuffing, pan gravy, cranberry, red sweet potatoes with “Texas Roadhouse” style cinnamon butter and Brussels sprouts with carrot, onion and bacon. A nice red wine. Cheese cake for desert.
