I had a poster of this in my room as a kid. I remember my childhood friend and I talking about how funny it was that they were looking around furtively as they smoked. He is not with us anymore so that memory probably makes this one my very favourite.

Just a few hours ago, a co-worker initiated a Skype chat conversation with, "Good morning, Rich". I responded, "Howdy, howdy, howdy."

Long ago, right after college, I shared an apartment with two other guys. We thought this cartoon was hilarious and "Howdy, howdy, howdy" was our standard greeting.

Apparently he went into hiding. THere is a good movie about a guy from SNL that is looking for him and trying to find him. Sorry, I can't remember the name, but I was surprised Gary wanted to maintain such a low profile.

...and in the learn something new department (at least for me), Larson enjoyed playing guitar, took lessons from Herb Ellis, and in gratitude, did this album cover for Herb Ellis and Red Mitchell:

This is my favorite by far (side)... I have a mug with it. In the early 90s I was a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon, definitely a school for the gifted. And I felt like this boy quite often... :) Not only that, but Brazilians (and the Portuguese, I suppose) have a problem with push-pull. Pull in Portuguese is "Puxe". So, whenever I saw "push" I always read "puxe" and pulled the door... I still get confused to this day...
