2007 SG Special faded. Is there any bigger bargain, in quality used guitars, these days? You can pick them up, all day long, for half the price of the latest line of Epiphone versions.

Guitar has been played a lot, polished by the owners body, dry and dirty, elsewhere. Hotter pickups and a different cap. A few minor dings and some finish wear, on the back of the neck, around the twelfth fret. A wee bit of fret indentation, in the Cowboy zone.
The pickups are cheap Korean imports, from Iron Gear. I've never seen a set, in a Gibson before but they are really good- sweet and articulate, when you want that- but with a gnarly edge.

I have owned a ton of SGs over the decades (yep, I'm old) but I always end up selling them, just like I do with ES-335s.

This SG arrived just over three months ago and it's still here; from 2000 and excellent plus/near mint condition.

who knows if it will stay in the herd .......

Beautiful guitar! Love the wood grain

But that one different knob ( missing 'Volume' reflector tab?) is driving me crazy!

Les Paul's may have the legacy & pedigree, but SG's are COOL 😎 !

I got my first one as a husk a year or so ago. I threw some Dimarzio Pafs in it. It rocks! It’s an SGJ with the raw finish and I just love it. I’ve been playing thirty plus and I should have gotten an SG and a Mustang years ago.
