The SG Standard is the best selling Gibson according to Gibson. I'm not sure what they count the 61-67 Les Pauls (SG shape) as, could be either I guess.

My wife wants to join the club. Here's her "66" G-400 PRO.

Here's my "new" 2002 SG special faded. It has the crescent moon inlays and the ebony fretboard. I've always been a staunch Fender guy (both Strats and Teles) for nearly 30 years, but I must say that this SG is an awesome guitar! It really sings with a different voice than my Fenders. The neck is much more meaty than either my Strats or Teles (none of which have the big thick necks), so it's taking some getting used to, but I must say that it has an incredibly "organic" feel that just begs to be played.

Feels good, doesn't it? If a man has a tele and an SG....well, that man has it all, no?

A good Telecaster and Gibson pretty much covers it.

My first and only SG, soon after I got it home in late 2014. Still not too sure about it, although I am warming up to it more, as time passes. The maestro arm was still in the case at this point.

Had it for a month or so, and never joined up. I bought an Epiphone Goth SG. Its renewed my love for these beauties.

Wow, some killer SGs in this thread! I didn't expect to find this thread here, looks like I'm joining a lot of clubs on TDPRI Lol...

My lowly singular SG, a Gibson Faded SG Special with P 90s (LOVE P 90s!).

I have a lefty SG 60s Special Tribute with P90s. It is a nice guitar to play, very light with a nice neck. Albeit a low level model, now that I have a genuine Gibson I can rest assured that my Asian guitars are of equal quality.

These P90 SGs are actually very similar to the guitars played by Carlos Santanna at Woodstock and Pete Townsend on Live At Leeds. The sound is incredible, and the SG's legendary playability really lends itself to some great music.
