I have a 1971 Tele with a factory bigsby (just so ya know why I am here)

Anyway several years ago I was posting about my Seymour Duncan 35 guitar and someone posted a pic of Seymour on stage and he was playing a Schectoer C1 Elite (orange quilted maple top which I also own). Others even commented on it.

I mentioned this to a friend and he said there is no way that Seymour would ever stage play or jam in public with a Schecter.

I am absolutely sure I saw the photo but cannot find it. Was I imagining this or did anyone else see it ? (hopefully it was this blog site)

Schecter put a whole lot of Seymour’s pickups in their guitar’s. Including the Duncan designed brand. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind playing one.

Both companies are based in California as far as I know and as someone said before a bunch of schecters have Duncans in them. The one schecter I've owned had a JB and a Jazz in it stock.

I own and have owned a bunch of Schecters. They’re well made, great looking, and (thanks in no small part to Seymour) great sounding guitars.

    Here’s two I still own - C1 Elite and a Damien bass

    And a 12 string I wish I wouldn’t have sold.

Dang, going to have to grab the C1 now. Thanks for the reminder!

Schecters are most excellent; owned two Vintage Solos and they were two of the best guitars I have ever played on all fronts, bar none.

Thanks for the replies. I agree, my Schecter elite is a very good guitar, serious bang for the buck.
I had a rather spirited debate with my friend, I did not understand why he would think a Schecter would be beneath SD.

I've got a Schecter Omen Diamond Extreme 7-string BCH.
Latest gig I played I started out on that thing and four songs in I swapped to my Tele which was its live debut.

My favourite guitar, not available anymore, is the Schecter Stratocaster as played by Mark Knopfler.( which I believe had SD pickups) - especially the CAR one.
A friend lent me a Schecter "telecaster" one weekend- unfortunately i couldn't afford it at the time.
Great guitars. I hear they were "partscasters" akin to Mighty Mite back then ( c. 1980) .

Why can't you find the photo? You must know all of the places in which you might have posted it.

Good question, the problem is that it may not have been in this blog site. I have tried googling and duck ducking but unable to find it. Sometimes a picture will disappear if it was posted by link to photo bucket or something similar.
