I just installed them into my Les Paul. Don't know how they'd translate into a Tele or Strat, but they are superb (both full and split) in my '69 Deluxe.

They work pretty well in my strat, "Smokie" -, (what's left of) the two piece ash body givens them a nice warm tone.

And I've dropped both PG in neck and bridge position in my home brewed 335....no regrets....couldn't imagine anything else better than them....

    Beautiful guitars, guys.

    Where there's Smoke, there's fire...

Here's mine. Used to be a '69 Gold Top. It was so beat up (and I mean SO beat up) I had to do something to it, which was years ago. Just had the pups put in and made the middle toggle an out of phase switch (used to turn a preamp on and off...no more preamp).

Love this ax. The Pearlies are phenomenal:

I just put a set in my Les Paul. They sound awesome through pedals, or straight into the amp.

It was the first pickup in the bridge position of my LP that I felt really gave the axe some umph. Havent tried the neck.

Neck pickup is excellent. Clean, OD, and distortion. It's just a great all around pickup.
I agree about the bridge position. It's got that extra push. Really sweet.

I have a Telecaster FMT HH which came with them, and it sounds great. Since then I've put one at the bridge of a Spirit by Steinberger GT Pro, and that made a HUGE difference to that thing.

I'm curious how you like the Steinberger, in general? Playability, tuning, and sound? Is there another standard guitar, now that you've got the Pearly on there, that you could compare it to?
