I'm not sure there's any point in making a connection to Seven Mary Three. I liked their stuff, but I doubt even a solid connection to the band would add any significant value to the guitar.

That, and in the mid-late 1990s, there were lots of bands with numbers and/or women's names in their titles.

Their "American Standard" Album is full of telecaster and AC30 gems. "Favorite Dog" has some sweet environmental reverb on top of that. There is also a great video of a live "Without you feels" that sounds awesome. I LOVE playing along with these songs. These songs are what make me feel like I need a telecaster, but my Les Paul Jr P-90s work pretty well with my vox amp to nearly nail the tone.

I also really love their acoustic songs - especially "Man in Control."

Although I admit, I haven't looked into their other albums as much as I should.

    Fun Fact,
I owned a Marshall DSL50 Head that belonged to the singer of Seven Mary Three. It was my main gigging + recording amp for almost 10 years, awesome amp!

They're from the area, I got it from the local Guitar Center around 2003-2005?

I played a show with 7m3 back in the day(2004?). I can't recall the guitars they played, though. We drank a lot back then.

Hi. I'm looking for a Tele of mine that disappeared a while back. My name is Jason Casey, and the guitar disappeared in 2001. You can tell it's mine because I put masking tape on the control plate inside, with my name, my hometown of Rochester and my new home, Detroit, and the date on it. Just ship it to me at your own expense, no questions asked.

Not to bogart thread but I'm from the Detroit area and lived in your neighborhood in 94-95, while attending Wayne State. Muir St. Actually, while I'm reminiscing, I worked at the post office in HP for 2 weeks. Yes, 2 of the coldest, most miserable, weeks of my life!

    Don't worry, I speak mongo.

He's saying he googled "jason casey telecaster" and the first hit that came up was Seven Mary Three because there is a bloke called Jason and a bloke called Casey in the band, one of them played a tele, and they may have played shows in Detroit and Rochester in 2001. THEREFORE, this is a very highly collectable instrument worth untold sums.

    Elementary, my dear Watson.
