A steel guitar engagment.
I think that is what is meant by "having it down COLD". I been thinking about a road trip to NOLA just to check out some horn players.

I've just been watching some of their other videos, here's a compilation from a tour in America earlier this year. Notice Danny Seraphine sitting in with them in some of the clips (and looking like he's having a blast).

Thanks for posting, I had not heard of this group, and they're fantastic! In grade school I started on trumpet, so always liked Chicago, and they were the first big rock concert I attended (in '71 I think). I shortly took up guitar and Terry Kath was a big favorite.

Last night a fellow Chicago-loving friend stopped by just as I was watching the compilation video above. We sat and watched a bunch of their stuff plus a short documentary about them.

What a talented bunch of people! It reminds me of my college stage band days. I'd love to play in a band like that. (Heh, I'd love to have half that guitarist's chops!!).

The fact they're all from Russia and Ukraine makes it all the more charming.

He may be as Russian as borscht but this cat can play his ass off.
He totally smokes this.
This band has all the Chicago tunes I played in the 70s live for breakfast and spits out the bones

Man the whole band is just bad azz & the guitar player is killer, nice !

Very well done cover. I enjoyed it a lot. For those of you who don't know (I'm sure most of you do know), Terry Kath was the original guitarist for Chicago and came up with that guitar part. He is a forgotten guitar god. Hendrix once said he thought Kath was better than him.

One of my all time favorite Chicago tunes... and these guys SO nail it! Leonid is fantastic, and so are his friends. Best wishes for success to come to these guys. They are perfectionists.
