iPads, Samsung, Sony, and several other brands all claiming greatness

i'm weary of finding and printing charts at home and then wrangling pages on stage

my mates have top of the line apple products..... i know good isn't cheap and cheap isn't good

but my post divorce retirement income requires more judicious spending than i previously enjoyed

so, middle ground, cheap, reliable, you know... thanks for any recommends

Newish 10.2 inch iPad is a good deal at $329 and would do what you need and plenty more.

I have an iPad (5th gen), OnSong, and an iKlip mic stand mount. 635 songs. Easy to use, I can change keys on the fly, good editor. A lot of things I don’t need or ever will. They’re there if I ever needed them

I use the iPad Pro 11”. I have every square inch is valuable for my eyes....however, the 10.2 may be what you need. OnSong is great. However, I don’t know if the editor is in the free edition anymore or not.

I'm using a Lenovo Android tablet. The model I have is no longer made, but the equivalent new model would be as shown below. I use an App called MobileSheets Pro to store all my charts on.

For larger format and easy reading I've been thinking one of those Notepads with the fold over cover placed length up would be best.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Apple, I do think the iPad is going to work best for you based on ease of use and durability.

The problem I've seen with cheaper Android based pads is that they often exhibit defects and some have limited features that might cause you issues. Good ones generally cost about the same as the iPad, maybe with a few more features but nothing you would really use at your anticipated usage.

Good Windows tablets are as pricey too, also about the same as the iPad and sometimes even more.

I like Setlist Helper, it’s about $10. Use with any tablet, I use a Samsung galaxy
