    Tried to find a good clip of Slim's "Ain't Exactly Good", and found one, but it's rough (surprise) so I settled for Tommy's "All this way for nothing"



    might as well throw in some I Don't Cares - "King of America"



    Giant Sand - "Yer Ropes" . not sure if it's about a lack of success, but it's not for tryin'



    Jets to Brazil - "Your Xrays have just come back and we think we know what your problem is"

    Of course, I knew it was a Steve Earle song, but that cover by BBS came to mind as I was tracking down the YT videos for the two BBS originals. And this is one of those cases where I like the cover even better than the original. YMMV.
