H-M-M-M. There was a British group who had maybe four hits, one was "Kicks" ("Kicks just keep gettin' harder to find...")
But man, these measles were Geared UP! I wouldn't mind having one of those Fender stacks.
Kicks was Paul Revere & the Raiders, who were definitely not British.
No idea what your last sentence means.
Check out all that Amperage behind them..
The Prime Movers, Ann Arbor MI, 1966. Iggy Pop playing drums left-handed. Dan Erlewine on guitar, playing the burst that he later sold to Mike Bloomfield.
But the MEASLES were British, and they recorded the song and had a hit. That's what it means.
The Measles with Joe Walsh were not British, they were from Ohio.
The British band The Measles did record Kicks. It was not a hit.
Well, I won't argue that. I didn't mean to imply that Joe Walsh's Measles were British. If you read my post, it says "...there was a British group..." I got my info regarding the "hit" status from YouTube. Obviously that could be wrong. I was just putting in my two cents. Sorry if I've offended anyone.
