this is pretty old in this thread by now, but i had to respond to this...
that is a Kif Wood bass. i had one made for me 30+ years ago when i was stationed in England. the body shape is identical to this one, only i had him make me a 9 string. the top 3 are doubled up like a 12 string, and the bottom 3 are singles, for a fuller bottom end.

i cant believe im seeing this. unreal.
