I've been to her house - the real one. Inside, her uncle or whatever relative he was collected the fee and gave the tour - which meant he sat in a chair and pointed to everything and explained it's significance. Nothing more was needed. The most interesting part was the fact that the house used in the movie wasn't even in Kentucky.
