Man, 60 years old is too young to go.

Blackstar are solid amps, for sure. The house amp for a band I used to be in briefly was a Club 40. Quite good as a clean platform, actually.

Tough break. I like my HT Club 40 and Super Fly street pack. Versatile.

Too young! My Fly 3 stereo amp still gets a lot of use. R.I.P.

Alzheimer's at that age....Scary stuff! Same with Mal Young.

I'm 67 y.o., my mom died at 92 y.o. from Dementia, I'm not sure when she first started showing signs of it. The possibility of coming down with either scares the crap out of me.

I have the 5HTr combo and love it. Thanks for the amps that Bruce was involved with.

Too, too young. He and his father probably soldered quite a bit...you got to wonder about heavy metal toxicity.

I saw that, RIP. I have an HT Soloist 60 that is easily the most versatile amp I own, and I got it for next to nothing. I've always struggled with the lack of support of Blackstar amps outside of the metal community. I use mine on country gigs and it sounds fantastic, but everyone goes "never heard of that amp" or "this ain't no dang hard rock band."

    Until they hear it...
