I hear they've developed a new GPS system for elders. It not only tells you how to get somewhere, it tells you why you went !!

Well, take heart fellow old guys! When the asteroid hits we can look at all the young people with a big grin and say, “Man! Did you guys get hosed!” just before we get smooshed.

I couldn’t afford it either, but, was a hospital employee and their benefits paid for EVERYTHING except for several hundred bucks for the Ortho surgeon, etc... they even covered physical therapy 100%, which was like $130 each session, 3x a week....only good thing I can say about my now former employer is that the benefits...and everybody I worked with on the floors bust their arses for that place...miss my coworkers, don’t miss the crappy way mgt treated the nursing staff. Benefits was the only reason I stayed with it, on my wife’s benefits, now, shall see how that goes when I get my ‘scripts refilled. Be kind to healthcare workers, they work harder and are more miserable than most folks imagine :(

we have the NHS here...but i think theyre a bit busy
since this began ive worked a total of a week and a half...now made redundant through lack of work...im in lifting gear.over 40 years at that..hard physical work...i miss it...im not using up energy...cant sleep as a result of that,..
My gran was a nurse..as was my auntie...i know the stress theyre under...ive needed hospital care on many occasions through various mishaps...work and play
sometimes they lack sympathy if its a sports injury or something...your taking up a bed and their time when someone less fortunate needs it...broken ribs from weapons sparring...shield boss...2 broken ribs...axe gouge to hand and forearm....not impressed...cant even go and spar now...no meeting allowed

First childhood was bad enough without having to tolerate another. Me, I’m just getting older.

As I get older, my ears get bigger, but they don't work any better.
