I’m going to try that and white with blue. The challenge is finding images of knobs with similar perspective to the faceplate so I don’t have to make too much of a Photoshop fool of myself.:lol:

I like the gold. The white is easy to read, but after a while, you know what knobs do what, without reading the lable.

Alright, one more shoddy Photoshop job, and yet another contender. Black faceplate with white knobs...o_O

Eh...not as crazy about this one.

Those would go well with a turned aluminum plate... Another hint...

If the builder offered one, I'd probably consider it an option. Since he doesn't offer it, kind of a moot point. That said, I do own a laser...

They all look fine to me. Pick whichever one is easiest to read in low light.

I prefer the white. Black is ok. The gold really clashes IMO.

The first option — white faceplate with black knobs — has the right visual balance IMO. The white ties in with the primary color of the amp, the black matches the handle and logo plate, and the silver of the switches matches the corner protectors and the ends of the handle. Also lets the blue stripe shine on its own as a decorative element.

White definitely looks the best to me.

I like the blue knob suggestions, though.

that's it! look at the contrast of the white knobs on the black faceplate, with the white tolex and the bold blue stripe!! black on black will get lost, white faceplate is too close to the white tolex and the gold is too faux. good luck, whatever you choose!!

    play music!

I think it's down to these two contenders, and I might be leaning toward the black with white chicken heads oddly enough. The gold still speaks to me from a classic Marshall-esque perspective given how I'm having the amp voiced across channels. I don't really understand the "gold is too faux" comment though. Care to break that down a bit?:lol:

This was up on my monitors all day to help make the decision. I don't think it helped as much as I thought it would.:lol:

He’s going to do some white or silver braid piping around the outside of the baffle.:twisted:

I think I’m settled on the black faceplate with white chickenheads. Bam!!:lol:
