I assembled a Sea Foam Green partscaster, using a Mighty-Mite body. First experience with them. Not a bad body. But fairly heavy. Had I not routed it (huge) for Nashville configurations, it would be heavier. Not as heavy as my CV, but close. I do like the color. It's a little different than other shades of Sea Foam I've seen.

That's a stunning looking guitar, Rebell, but it looks like Lake Placid Blue to me.

And PJ, you're right, yours looks quite different. It's got more than a little Sonic Blue to it (from that image, anyway). I really like it.

The white balance must be way off on your camera, Rebell. That color looks blue on my computer.

this is the green I want, Inverness. The new Standards in Sage Green Metallic almost look like inverness green.

Now that looks nice! I been thinking about trying a partscaster with neck HB, rosewood and vibrato, get out of my head! Lol
I like all these variations of green on a Tele,
on anything else they'd be hideous!
Except maybe a 55-56-57 chevy or an old Harley. Lol

Re ranch .com has surfgreen @ $ 16.00 a can I did a Les Paul Jr type guitar with it and it is a beautiful color here is there description of the color below. Here I think is image link. [IMG]

The color, if not a brother, is a close cousin of Sonic Blue. Most of you older guys will remember it from the '56 Chevy. The younger guys will remember it from... well, their Dads' '56 Chevy. As evidenced by the prices (that is, if you can find one), there are not a lot of Surf Green any things out there. If you want an easy to apply color you will not see again in a "Blue Green Moon" this is the one for you. Clear coating will again only add to the beauty.

I was born in the '50's when everything, even lawn furniture, was Surf Green.

Guitar in the video is surf green and it does look better than sea foam green.
