    So right Joe .
I got to do some serious listening and I think he should be sharing his playing more often with others .

Everybody sounded good. As toomuchfun said, when it worked it was a lot of fun and when it didn't we had a laugh and moved on to something else.

Special thanks to Otterhound for hosting the event; to my buddy and fellow church musician, Steve, for bringing his drum set 80 or so miles to help out a bunch of derelict guitar player, and to Tom (toomuchfun) for providing and setting up a PA system so we could literally stink out loud.

I got to try my new Cabronita Tele, which I though sounded pretty darn good out of my Peavey Classic 30. Also, I hadn't played bass in about 3 years, so it was fun to yank out some of my old bass chops on the SX Fretless short scale J Bass. Believe me, there were enough guitar players. The tunes needed some bass, that's for sure.

Mickey's Fireglo PG T-style is just flat cool.

Definitely have to do this again. Thanks to everybody.

Totally concur about the Cabronita/Peavey rig. You pulled every sound out of that I'd want from a guitar; it was great to experience. And that Fireglo tele has been haunting my dreams! Lots of super axes on display, not the least of which was our host's rosewood tele. I'm glad I was there!

    WHEW!!! I'm almost recovered.

Indeed, a great time, too bad I got the times messed up and showed up 4 hours late. C'est la vie, we still got some jams in and plenty of $#!t was shot. The grub was fabulous (I tend to stay away from shellfish for the sake of my gout, so it's nice to get a chance to splurge) and Dick was, as usual, a gracious and generous host.

    Until we jam again!

With winter roaring back to Pennsylvania this week, your wallaby sure picked the right weekend for the jam otterhound.

    Meet Rosie .
She doesn't say much or require a lot of room .
Of course , she doesn't complain either .
I know a woman that raises Wallabies locally . That is where Rosie came from .

... thanks to one of you folks, (for dropping a pick), I'm all set

I was telling Otter and Mick that I can't find jazz picks any longer.

The workaround is to just cut down picks. (... this one was my test subject)

Thanks again for hosting a great shindig Otter (Dick) and hopefully that punk version Of Neil Young's Words that I sprung on you folks didn't do any long term damage and has worn off by now.

Joe, I knew we had a lot in common. I'll hook you up with one of my favorites at the next jam.
