Bet a guitar made with this will have glassy, transparent highs!

They’re listing it on CITES due to its rarity.

It would be a vast improvement over stuff like polycarbonate.

Made from a renewable resource instead of fossil fuel.

Sign me up for the first batch :).

Isn't the epoxy resin used to make clear wood made from petroleum?

My Flaxwoods are made from sawdust mixed with resin.

Even acoustic they sound like wood.

That would be butterscotch blonde over transparent then, unless you’ve just eaten strawberry ice cream.

They're talking about using it in buildings instead of glass.

Yep, let's make our homes more flammable . . .

Otherwise I think it has huge potential. Glass is not a very environmentally sound product.

It’s completely infused with marine epoxy. Not sure how environmentally sustainable or fire resistant that is compared to glass.
