    You should read Richard K Morgan's 3 Kovacs books. The 1st Netflix series was good but the books are better.

    These movies all have a scene where in they leave the city, go some where in the country where they find refuge.

    the novels note the series was my first exposure to Altered Carbon & Broken Angels.
    His conceptual continuity is smashing it!
    I like the way he exposes how never having to die ,has a very dark side, prone to some very dark manipulation
    Yes Real Death will get some body's attention as in
    I talking about real dead pal!
    Going into virtual and finishing up that unrequited love from lifetimes ago with Mr. or Ms. it

    I loved the part were Tennessee's wife loses it , loses it and completely loses it and goes totally off line and blows up the shuttle, her freaking, the other officer locked in the med room with the alien freaking everybody completely bonkers, that was very well done.
