Afternoon All. Last year I purchased a nice loaded Warmoth Tele body at a really really good price & it had the Schecter Monstertone tapped pickups & control plate fitted, all original from what look to be late 70s early 80s. I've since looked around & it seems they are worth quite a bit, now, realistically they are a bit lost on me as I'm not trying to recreate a Knopfler tele or anything, I just like playing & could quite easily sell them & fit a cheaper set & not notice a great deal of difference. That said, they do sound nice, the coil tap is usefull & I'm not sure I could be bothered with all the faff! So, I guess I'm asking does anyone have any idea of a ballpark idea what they'd likely go for? If it's daft money I could be tempted. I've attached a couple of pics from ads I've found that are the exact pickups in my guitar (I'm currently playing it & don't want to dimantle it) & a pic of the actual guitar. Cheers.
