A scale tree I've had on my computer for quite a while (Downloaded years ago from "www.ethanhein.com" )
Thought you may be interested. Helps to show scale/mode commonalities.

Also I don't know about your diminished scale. The ones I am familiar are symmetric, either whole-half or half-whole. The one usually called "diminished" is whole-half.

    C Diminished: C D Eb F Gb Ab Anat B

Cool, but intimidating and overly complicated.
Try, C scale, start at 6th string, 8th fret.
Now play the scales starting with the index finger at 8th fret, then second finger at 8th fret, then third finger at 8th fret, you get the picture.
Do this with every scale, on every string.

Seem to be a few omissions and mistakes.
Yikes - needs proof reading. I really only looked at the modal associations.
The blues scale is also wrong (no D in C blues scale).

    Hmmm.
So do you consider the C Lydian Augmented a mode of the MM, or does the tree need another branch for the #5 ?? (which is not on this tree).

I don't see it like the tree.

I see scales organized a couple different ways at the same time. As modes of fundamental scales (major, melodic minor, harmonic minor) plus odd balls, as well as what chords they work with (so altered, mixo, and lydian dominant work with dominant chords).

Agree, but I do like visual representations. You know ..."One picture ....."
(If it was colour-by-number, unfortunately some of the colours are wrong.)

I like how the major scales vs minor scales are built up on the tree:
    Major: Root - 5th - M3 - 7ths - 4ths - 6ths
    Minor: Root - 5th - m3 - 7ths - 6ths - 2nds
