Last night I watched the 3 part Sasquatch documentary on Hulu. While they dragged it out a bit, it was interesting. The series was about an investigative journalist who looked into the tale that 3 men were kill by a sasquatch in 1993 in northern California pot farm.

While I don't want to spoil the show for you, he did discover a number of very dangerous, bipedal, primates lurking in the northern California forests.

    Here's the trailer...

I love this kind of thing, and the ghost hunters things, and I always have to laugh at myself when I'm disappointed that they (inevitably) come up basically empty-handed.

It's like I'm still 10 when it comes to this stuff

    Thanks for posting

Don't get hulu, but, if money making activity is around (gold or pot)..you
know bad guys are going be there, and bad things are going happen.

I wonder how the bipedal ghost of the woods gets involved here.
One would assume if they exist, they stay away from human activity.

He didn't come up empty handed. He found the dangerous primates responsible for killing the 3 guys in the pot farm.

Let me guess, they are a member of a species scientifically referred to as Homo Sapiens.

That's answered in the last 15 minutes of the 3 hour mini-series although it helps to understand the context of why.

Pot farmers killed Mexican outsiders who were muscling in on their farms and made it look like a sasquatch did it to scare other outsiders away.

I'm guessing Shaggy often indulged in the main cash crop from that area of California.

I absolutely love Fact or Faked. They sometimes pick the most convoluted method of faking it. Looks like a bug on a CCTV lens rather than a ghost? They’re more likely to test whether it was a drone with a shower curtain attached zipping through an open window.

Have you ever heard of a bar called Boomers or Spy Rock Road? They're featured prominently in the series.

As a companion piece, check out "Murder Mountain" on Netflix. Set in the weed basket of California, as is Sasquatch. It was pretty good.

I always get sucked into those shows. But then I cuss at the TV when they say “well, no pictures, which proves they’re from another dimension” or “the fact that we can’t catch one or can’t find a skeleton proves how sophisticated they are”.
The fact that I keep watching proves how dumb I am.

I don’t have Hulu. Does this one produce any scat or fossils?

It's actually more of an exploration of the other thing that attracts people to the Emerald Triangle of California and its association with the sasquatch legend, the other main attraction to the region.
