saw this tour at newport folk that year. same bill with richard thompson (solo), the roches & a buncha others. these guys and thompson completely changed my mind about what was possible with an instrument or two.
And don't forget Joaquin behind his dad!

...With the great Bobby King and Terry Evans. RIP Terry. So fine in every way.
They did a few tours as the Cooder/Lindley Family or something like that I wish I would have had the opportunity to see a show. I do have a couple of the CDs from the tour(s). Saw Ry and Joaquin a few years back, but never got to see David. A shame. RIP.
