Roy Clarks still going! He's nearly 81.
An original shredder!
Talk about guitar faces
That was great.
Roy can pick and he probably still can. That's his game.
He reminds me of Benny Hill.
That was half-way to "yakkity sax".
Reminds me of Les Paul
His picking style sounds Lester-ish on that video.
That was nice.
Who ever ironed his shirt deserves honorable mention. Absolute wrinkle free perfection.
He always managed to have a feel good vibe in his playing. Almost humorous. Awesome player.
Reminds me of Joe Maphis
I had a friend who played with Roy Clark back in the early 50's in the DC metro area and he said Roy could play anything and win any contest he would enter.
Here's Roy with Brad Paisley 3 years ago and still picking like no one else can.
Too many notes, the guy has no soul.
Never realized that whem Leo called it the Jazzmaster that he meant Dixieland. Roy sounds like he's playing an electric banjo. Not that that's a bad thing. Shredded corn!
hey, what the...that thing doesn't have a Mastery bridge on it! I wonder how he plays in tune...
