Can anyone tell me what Roy is playing in this video? It's not Nancy that's for sure. It looks like an Epiphone T-130. I used to have one of those guitars and I've always regretted selling it. The vid is kinda blurry which makes it hard to see.

Pretty sure it's a Guild Tele copy they made about that time. I think he endorsed them for a min. Guild T250

Bush, are you meaning the Epi T310....the Epi version of a Tele? IF so, it was not available at the time that video was shot in 1987. The T-310 came out in 1989. I can't see Buchanan playing a $250 Korean made tele copy even if the dates did match up, though.

    gitold is correct.

Roy used this guitar probably only twice in concerts, and at least one time he had a tape over the logo as he was real dissatisfied with the guitar.

Thanks guys, yes it was the T-310 I meant, my mistake. That makes more sense with Guild thing, I had not seen those before. Mystery solved!

I still miss my T-310 though, a little blasphemous perhaps but that kind of naughtiness is sexy. Twang twang.

I'm in the Guild camp, there was one like it on Ebay six months or so ago. What a great player Roy was, I hadn't seen that video before.

My dad was telling me on the phone the other night that Veneman's Music, before becoming a Guitar Center, was selling a Guild that Roy owned for $900. I'll have to ask him if it was a tele copy next time I call him.

Jjoe Perry....he probably has one of almost everything...or has it at his disposal. I saw AErosmith outdoors in San Antonion soem years back. IN themiddle of the concert, I was standing around staring at the stars during a rather long pause between songs. All of a sudden, I hear this high pitched beautifully thick screamin' sound. I turned to the stage, and there was Perry dead center in the stage standing behind a Korina-bodied Gibson consolette double-8 string neck steel gutiar. I couldnt' believe it.. I knew what it was because I have one exactly like it. Perry rocks anythign he can get his hands on. Aerosmith palyed the hottest 'Unplugged' session I ever saw...back when ?Cinemax? did hte Unplugged series. Walk This Way on a resonator....kicked it!

I loved his playing, but if I was at this gig, I would have shoved socks in my ears to stop the damage to the inside of my head.
