    Hi.

Just scoundrel this.* Don’t think it’s been posted.

Disclaimer: haven’t actually watched it yet. Bound to be interesting in part though, at the very least.

Sorry, but I seldom spend more than 5 minutes watching videos, and personally, this guys puts me to sleep. But, back in the 70's I discovered Roy B. and spent great deals of time learning his style. When I had the chance to see him perform up in DC, I found out that I still had a lot of work to do. Great player, but one of my big take-aways from that performance, was that he got really loud. Still very commanding and had the immediate attention of every guitarist around.

I should clip the first 5 minutes of this video and play it at bedtime. I couldn't stand 30 minutes.

Dude is 11 minutes in and he still hasn't said anything at all about Roy Buchanan.

Seriously, how do people tolerate this kind of slack self indulgent filler? My time's to short

I like Zac, he's informative and I find his calm demeaner reassuring during this troubling times.

I bought a Bill Lawrence acoustic soundhole pickup because of that guy's YT on putting acoustics through a pedalboard.
    So there's that...:D

I have this permanently bookmarked. It tells me what he was capable of as a performer, guitarist and a Telecaster player. It's enough for me.

Agreed this one was kind of long winded, and not everyone's cup of tea. I like to put him on and listen to him in the background when I work, kind of like NPR.

I like him better when he does equipment stuff, but he also does great long form interviews where he lets the subject do most of the talking, with great players.

He has posted a thread on here somewhere about buying and refinishing a 50's Esquire

I watched some of that PBS special and gotta tell you Roy Buchanan scares me. He didn't seem like a guy you'd yuk it up with.

    Hi.

    Well, I did say...

Note I had the foresight to say "in part" ;)

Like @Mike M said, I kinda play him in the background, like radio. It works for that. Same as I do with those long That Pedal Show VQC episodes.

I really like Zac, never knew much about Roy.
I first saw a Zac video here a few months ago and made some lame comparison of his speech style to that of, say, PhilX.
It didn't read in the way I had meant it and I was widely trounced for insulting Zac.
Even Zac contacted me to find out what it was about his speech that offended me.
... Dumb joke gone really bad.

Anyway, I really like Zac and this video maybe makes me want to explore Roy's music (a little).

I can't watch TPS anymore...it was fresh a couple of years ago..but now it just seems like they are pfaffing over the same stuff day in, day out..churning out videos to get their numbers up...I know its all about money these days with Youtubers, but I lost interest in them a while ago...

I dig all his videos. I got no idea what’s wrong that one. And I like the way he speaks. That’s southern drawl, right?

    Hi.

Yeah, these days I have it on like radio in the background while I’m doing other stuff & am only half paying attention, or if sitting down to watch, just don’t finish. One or the other.

    Hi.

Ah, the perils of attempting humour on the internet.

Quite a few times I’ve refrained from hitting the ‘post’ button cos I’ve figured someone won’t get it. Quite a few times I’ve hit it and someone hasn’t gotten it too. Oh well...

Nothing against the guy, the tempo, the presentation...I don’t know what it was, I could not hold interest and I am a big RB fan.

This video has no high-speed inter-city police chases? Gun battles? Naked women? Boring!
