Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC he could end up MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP

Round Up cannot kill English Ivy. Trust me, I spent $100.00 to find out. Thank God I only used that stuff once.

I live in farm country. Do you know that farmers use Round Up on crops? The seed companies (many owned by Japanese owners) have developed "Round Up resistant" seed. So instead of weeding etc they can just spray the food crops you eat and rely on it disappearing before it goes to your table.
For instance, we were surrounded by potato fields at my last house. The Farmer would come warn us that they "were spraying and should stay indoors and keep the pets in for a few hours".

They are finding Glyphosate residue in some of the most remote areas of our planet.

As little as a quarter tablespoon. The amount needed to cause “drowning”

Not only litigation but lobbying, threatening, covering up and defaming studies, putting farmers out of business, putting seed companies out of business, etc etc.

I use roundup here at the farm. For years we were told it was safe enough to put on our morning Cheerios.
I take precautions when spraying any chemical; Chem suit, filter mask, eye protection. I don't trust any of it.
Honestly, As far as weed killers go, it's probably one of the tamer options.
There are others I won't use

It is sprayed on wheat, corn, chick peas, sugar cane and a number of other crops as a desiccant. There are others, but I can't recall the entire list off the top of my head.

Monsanto is not your friend. It is a corporation willing to do any harm recklessly to make a buck at anyone and everyone's expense. Europe is way ahead on this issue. We should heed their example.

I wear blue jeans, boots, a long sleeve shirt and gloves and use Round Up to kill weeds in flower beds and other places. Normally take a shower when I am done. Follow the directions.

I am also all caught up on my vaccinations and always have been. Being overly paranoid isn’t one of my things.

I also don’t listen for aliens with a tin foil hat.

I'm in the same boat. The only time i rinsed it off my body was after i finished. That was before the warnings became widespread but that doesn't matter, i'll pay the price when the time comes.
I wonder if all weed killers are similar, health-wise? Tough for me to do without it completely.

    Patience my friend.

    Patience...

I'm glad to see that this thread has survived the day!

I think it's worth talking about what we eat, or choose to put on our food. Some would prefer we don't talk about such things. I think it's good to have choices. And to be informed.
