Rosewood fretboard cleaned, now it’s hard to bend strings

For what it's worth, between Fast Fret, Fret Doctor, and cheap mineral oil from the pharmacy, I've never applied anything to my rosewood guitar necks that caused any kind of harm.

Nothing works better than finger oils and real wear. Just play it, enjoy the fight. You should see my Martin, fretboard is infused with me and the music I've played. Smooth as butter.

I've seen videos of rock guitarists- they all seem to play vibrato with their finger on top of the string (or with a tremolo bar), which is what made me curious.

I’m not sure where you got the idea that my finger was not on top of the string.

Just to close the loop on this issue, I applied a few coats of Dr. Ducks Axwax and buffed it off after a few minutes, and it worked extremely well. Highly recommend it.

I’m always spraying my neck down with finger-ease when I start to sweat and things get sticky, that stuff is magic; cleans the strings and lubes everything up
