    Sweet.

I'm glad the Atlantic ocean and punitive custom charges separates the shop from my lack of resolve.

You can always cruise I-190 and look longingly at Canada across the river.

In USD? The Canadian dollar is a bit weak right now.

You're correct. It was about $1800 USD.

Around 2015, the Canadian dollar was a little higher than the USD. Right now, the CAD is about $0.80. Fortunately, our trade deal means no customs duties either way.

I was in canada last year for work and thought about buying a guitar for this reason. A lot of the items in the classifieds were listed at the same dollar amount they would be in USD here. It was basically a 15%-20% discount, but I didn’t have the time to dedicate to finding one...

i really don't understand why folks would by from the big F (rating for quality) these days when there is this kind of product available at this price. Really a beautiful and accessible piece Ron.

I saw that too, and wondered if it was really accurate. If so, that's amazing for a non-pauwlonia tele!

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if it is.

<--- This guitar only weighs 6 lb's 3oz's and it had an absolute tree trunk of a neck. I would imagine you could easily shave a few ounces off with a thinner neck profile

My Kirn (one-piece swamp ash) is 7.0 lbs. I am astonished to think that one could be almost than a full-pound lighter! I'll bet that feels great on your shoulder!

I was looking at it, and I'd sell a couple MIMs in a heartbeat for a Kirn. Yeah, the weight made me wonder as well...
This is a tough one, as I'd really want to wrap my hand around that '50s fat C' neck profile first. Kinda hard given I'm 2700 miles away from the store (which is not physically/publicly accessible at present).
