Mick looks more muscular than on the last tour (which might be because he had just recovered from heart valve replacement) and Keith looks more with it.

This video doesn't have he best sound, bit it's a nice multi-perspective video of the opening video tribute to Watts and the first song.

Mick holds Keith's hand as he pays tribute Charlie:

I was worried about Steve Jordan's drumming (particularly his snare sound), but he really adds some energy here, especially on the outro.

Because?... Did you watch a live clip of Genesis' current tour by mistake?

No original rhythm section. The hallmark of the great RnR bands. Now they are the Glimmer Twins & a backup band. :(

I think there first set on each stop in the tour should be with out a Drummer and just the Kit on stage.

    I don't think it's possible. It's big business.

Just three members who've been with the band for more than 45 years, and several others who've been with them 30-plus years or more than a quarter of a century.

Wilfrid Brambell there on vocals :)

Seriously though, I recoiled in horror at the start of that but it came good, and if you don't watch and just listen, those guys still can put it together.

I looked at ticket prices and glad I didn't invest based on that. Not great value.

Phil's obviously not belting it out like he used to, his voice is thinner, but still singing with emotion and dynamics.

The asking price for tickets was offensive tho.

That’d be a “great rock and roll” move, wouldn’t it? Catering to the desires of strangers rather than doing what they want.

If you had the ability to continue to something like this at a such a high level, and bask in both adulation and monetary rewards, would you stop?

I have tickets for the first concert at Sofi. I was giving them to my niece but she is starting grad school in another state. I have been offered more than I paid for them. I don't expect to make moola but I won't lose money. Wish I was there but I cannot go either. Dang....

Keep churning out the same songs I'd been playing for 50+ years, or retire and enjoy my Scrooge McDuck-sized swimming pool of money? You'd never see me again. Clearly Mick and Keith feel differently, and fair enough.

I bought mine on pre-sale day because I have PSL's at Sofi. I really don't know what savings I have. They were 89.00 each way upstairs seats 1 and 2 on the aisle. I want to say they were $260 for two with all the charges. That big screen makes a ton of difference there.

Who is this Mike person and is it suggested that that is not Ronnie onstage?
Maybe I misinterpreted but that's what I think I'm reading.

I'm surprised that Keith would go out without Charlie.

Why would Keith want to quit because Charlie is gone? Who and what would that serve?

    Hi.

As I mentioned last time (there came up), The Rolling Stones are more than one thing. They're a historical moment, a functioning contemporary band, an idea (fluid), an idea (fixed), a deified construct, a legal entity, and large scale business concern, etc. How people wish to view them is their own choice. What the Rolling Stones themselves want to do is their own choice.

    My opinion?

    Well...
